In Sheffield responsible alcohol retailers can apply for accreditation and potentially an award under the 'Best Bar None' scheme.
Best Bar None is a recognised scheme supported by the Home Office and aimed at promoting responsible management and operation of premises licensed to sell alcohol. Further information on the Best Bar None Scheme can be obtained from www.sheffieldbestbarnone.co.uk
The scheme first ran in 2009 and the final award for overall winner went to the Frog and Parrot (Division Street), with individual winners in four additional categories - Pub, Bar, Club and Restaurant.

Best Bar Runner Up - Walkabout, Carver Street

Best Restaurant Runner Up - Wagamammas, Leopold Square
