A range of training courses have been commissioned by Sheffield DAAT for staff who work in Sheffield DAAT-funded agencies. This page provides information about courses, including who they are suitable for, course content, dates and prior learning requirements.

How to Book:

Telephone Steph on 0114 258 7553 (enter extention 217 when prompted) and she will take your booking over the telephone.   Please note Steph works Monday to Friday 9.30am to 1.00pm

Allocation of places:

Each agency will have an allocated number of places on each course.  However, if agencies do not take up their full allocation by 2 weeks before the start of the course, places will be offered out to others so you are advised to book as many places as you would ideally like and we will confirm to you if we are able to meet your needs.

If you are not sure if a course is suitable for your needs, or whether you meet the prior learning requirements, please telephone and ask to speak to one of the Trainers who will be able to offer you advice and guidance on these issues.

 Confirmation of Bookings:

You will be advised whether you have successfully gained a place on your requested course at the time of booking.  If the course is over-subscribed or your agency has used its allocation of places, we may not be able to advise you whether you have secured a place until a couple of weeks before the course is due to start.  For this reason we recommend you assume you have been successful unless told otherwise.

 Venues & Times:

All courses will be delivered in Sheffield.

Most courses will run between 9.30am and 4.30pm.  Half day courses run from 9.30am to 1pm.

We will contact all participants one week before the course with information about the venue and directions etc.
